DNA Hospitality Group was founded by Dino Alexakis and Alexia Sheinman. Their combined experience working in New York, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Athens across the design, marketing, wellness and hospitality industries sparked a shared desire to create inspiring and nourishing destinations in some of the world’s most beautiful locations. They are currently developing their first property in the Greek Islands.
Dino Alexakis is an entrepreneur and hospitality business consultant. He is the former Country Director for Selina in Greece, General Manager of the Hotel Arena in Amsterdam and Director of Food and Beverage at the W Hotel in Amsterdam. He received his degree in Hospitality Management from The Hague University and has worked in the hospitality industry ever since. Dino moved to Athens from Amsterdam in 2018 to contribute to his family’s restaurant business and to open and operate an ambitious new food and beverage concept on the island of Serifos. He is a passionate and driven entrepreneur, with a track record of building teams, developing strategy and overseeing hotel operations.
Alexia Valentina Sheinman is a Director at Pembrooke & Ives, an internationally acclaimed New York-based interior design firm that specializes in high-end residential and luxury development projects in the US and abroad. Alexia was born and raised in New York City to a Greek-Cypriot mother and a British father. She studied in Greece, the United Kingdom and New York, graduating with a BSc in Philosophy and Politics from the University of Bristol and an MFA in Interior Design from Parsons The New School for Design. Alexia is also a certified yoga teacher and the founder of her own yoga studio, called Yogimou. She currently lives between Athens and New York.
